Hi Folks. Here’s a look at how to make a basic Chop & Flip Aquaponics System.
This is a basic aquaponic system made from a recycled IBC tank that would take the average handyman a day to build & set up. The beauty of this Chop & Flip system is that it can be added to overtime after you’ve gotten the bug & want to grow more tasty fish & veggies in your own backyard.
This is an updated version that has been revised to add information about filtration & more.

The cost for this build was between AUD $250- 300 for the tank, pump & all the required plumbing which was bought from retail stores. It would work out a fair bit cheaper if bought from wholesalers & online stores.
The clay would cost around AUD $250 at the moment here in OZ at the moment, but rock & other media would be a lot cheaper.
