Solids Filter For Basic Chop & Flip Aquaponic System | Canister Filter
G’Day Folks. Here’s a small DIY solids filter build you can knock together for a few $ for your Cut & Flip or small basic aquaponic systems. (parts list below links)
The filters in this clip are based on a build Paul knocked together for his fish farms over on his Life in Thailand YouTube channel (Link below).

PARTS LIST
– one bucket/small drum with lid
– enough sdade cloth to semi tightly pack bucket
– a few short lengths of 25mm pvc pipe
– 25mm uniseal
– 2 x 25mm elbows
– 20mm hose (can be larger if you want)
– 20mm valve for hose
– ”nut & Tail” fitting for removing filter pipe from main line. (you will need a valve on the pump side as well)
