Hi folks. Here’s VOL 4 of our backyard farm & aquaponic clips that I’ve posted to our Patreon page. This one includes a look at the mango & coffee trees we have on the go, home grown/made ginger powder, a last look at the perennial spinach & some familiar looking fish we found at a restaurant.

The Recipe Bianca uses for her Pumpkin Pies for those interested. B said to say that it isn’t anything special, just a random one from the web she’s tweaked a tiny bit & it makes a ½ decent pie we think.
Pumpkin Pie #2
¾ cup cooked pumpkin (we roast it) mashed well
¾ cup white sugar
1½ tbsp plain flour
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp spiced rum
1 can evaporated milk with added milk to make up 1½ cups if its a smaller tin
2 tbsp molasses
½ tsp salt
2 eggs – separated
¼-½ tsp ground ginger
Pie shell
– Separate eggs – beat whites until foamy.
– Add all ingredients except for egg whites (& pie shell 😉) & beat for one minute.
– Fold in egg whites
– Pour into pie shell.
– Bake for 10 min on 220°c/425°F then turn down to 180°C/350°F & leave in for another 30 min (baking time may vary if your oven is temperamental like ours 🤔)
Hope you enjoy it if you have a crack at it.
