Reducing pH & Alkalinity of Aquaponic Top Up Water
G’Day Folks.Due to over 900L / 238 gal of ”town water” entering our aquaponic system a while back I need to drop the pH from 7.7 to below 7 as some of the plants (like the Gingers) appear to be suffering.
Normally there is no need to treat small amounts of top up water but thought I’d use my stuff up to help explain pH and alkalinity to those that may be interested. It may also come in handy for those looking at reducing the pH of their aquaponic system before adding fish.
